PRINTING LABELS AS SAMPLES

Once you have activated your Netc Printing System you may elect to print SAMPLE labels by selecting the ‘Print Labels as Samples’ check box on bottom of the Print Menu. This eliminates using any of your refill quantities while you setup up your initial templates.

PRINTER SETTINGS

Whatever printer you are using please ensure that your printer is setup for:

Size: US Letter (8.5 x 11)

Media Type: Thick or Heavy, for polyester stock on an HP use Tough. As we use fairly heavy label stock, using a printer or printer tray which feeds the stock around sharp corners is not suitable, causing damage to the stock or peeling of labels. Please ensure your printer has a relatively smooth paper feed path.

Fine Print Adjustment: this adjustment is provided to correct the “black” bias on some makes of printers, thus printing the black barcode elements too narrow or too wide. Therefore the FPA will vary according to the printer used. e.g. Konica Minolta 2300 set to 3, HP3500 set to 0. Please contact us for suitable settings for your printer.
